Volume rates apply to each guest above the threshold — the first 30 guests are always at the 5 – 30 rate, so a bigger group never pays less than a smaller one.

Under 5 guests: $545 flat (5-seat minimum).

Description

Build a tiki-style Lime in a Coconut with falernum syrup, plus a Sunshine Margarita, as your mixologist guides the team step by step. By the end there's a cocktail umbrella in every square on the call, a tropical break that brings sunscreen and good times to mind. Make both as mocktails, or add your favorite spirit. Each kit contains a recipe card and enough supplies to make a total of 4 drinks. This workshop has an interactive 60-minute hands-on session with a mixologist. We recommend adding some socialization time, or game add-ons such as icebreakers or scavenger hunt.

   Every event gets a dedicated planner, at no cost. They shape it around your team — the menu, the timings, dietary needs, and the parts that make it yours.

   That is the deadline for free standard shipping anywhere in the US. International delivery is available to most countries at additional cost, and those addresses are due earlier.

   A few days before

   Kits arrive

   Each guest gets their own kit at their own address, with everything the workshop needs in it. Shipping is insured, so a lost, delayed or damaged kit is replaced.

   Everyone joins and the chef takes it from there

How to join

• Your event planner sends the Zoom link with your confirmation, and again the day before.
• Prefer Microsoft Teams or Google Meet? Say so when you book and your host will run it there instead.

Cancellation, rescheduling and changes

Plans move. Every window below is counted back from your event date, and applies to virtual events like this one.

Tiki drinks have more going on than they look like they do. Emily was good on why the Lime in a Coconut needs the falernum and what it's doing against the rum — it stopped being a novelty drink with an umbrella in it about ten minutes in.

I did the mocktail version with my kids watching and the umbrellas were, predictably, the highlight for them. Both drinks work without the spirit, which isn't always true of these things.
