Process and timeline

From the moment you book to the moment the chef says hello.

  1. When you book

    Hold your date

A $250 deposit reserves the date and comes off the total in full. Dates 2 weeks out book instantly; sooner than that, ask and we can often expedite.

  2. Within a day

Your event planner gets in touch

Every event gets a dedicated planner, at no cost. They shape it around your team — the menu, the timings, dietary needs, and the parts that make it yours.

    • Free customization of the menu and the run of show
    • Free engagement games to open or close the session
    • Extra cheers, toasts and shout-outs for birthdays, wins and farewells
    • Dietary adjustments for anyone who needs them
  3. As soon as you like

    Collect guest addresses

We send every guest a short form to fill in themselves, so you never chase anyone for a home address. Prefer to handle it yourself? Send us the list instead.

  4. 14 days before

    Addresses in

That is the deadline for free standard shipping anywhere in the US. International delivery is available to most countries at additional cost, and those addresses are due earlier.

  5. The day before or the day of

    Fresh ingredients arrive

Not a box packed a week ago: each guest's ingredients are bought fresh at a local store — Whole Foods first choice, or the best grocer near them — and delivered to their door, so what they cook with is fresh on the day.

  6. Event day

Everyone joins and the chef takes it from there

One link, no software to install. Your planner is on hand in the background if anything needs sorting mid-event.

Agenda / Run of show

A breakdown of how the 60 min runs.

  1. 0:00 – 0:05

    Welcome & introduction

Meet your chef and host, run through the ingredients and equipment, and say hello to the team.

  2. 0:05 – 0:13

    Mise en place

Prep and portion everything before the cooking starts — the step that makes the rest calm.

  3. 0:13 – 0:36

    Cook together

The chef leads the dish step by step, at a pace the whole group can follow, with tips as you go.

  4. 0:36 – 0:44

    Team break

While something rests or bakes, the host runs a short icebreaker or trivia round.

  5. 0:44 – 0:52

    Finish & plate

Bring it together, plate it up and learn how a chef would serve it.

  6. 0:52 – 1:00

    Taste, group photo & Q&A

Eat what you made, take the team photo, and ask the chef anything.

What guests said about this experience

The batter should be lumpy — that was the correction that changed everything for me. Overmixing develops the gluten and gives you flat, chewy pancakes, and everyone's instinct is to whisk until smooth. Chef Emily told people to stop while it still looked wrong. The other useful detail is tossing the blueberries in a little flour so they don't all sink to the bottom, and the whipped ricotta on top is a better idea than syrup because it isn't purely sweet.

The lemon is zest rather than juice, which keeps the acidity out of the batter where it would react with the raising agent. That distinction was explained rather than just instructed. Whipped ricotta with vanilla is the thing I've carried into other breakfasts since — it takes two minutes and it's better than cream.

Easy to organize and it works as an early session, which is a genuinely useful slot to be able to fill. One pan, no oven, twenty-five minutes. We ran it at nine and everyone was fed and back at their desks well before ten, which made it an easy sell internally.

Marco

Clear and easy to follow, and forgiving — you get many pancakes from one bowl of batter, so the first burned one doesn't matter. Good for a group where confidence varies, since nobody ends up with a single ruined attempt and nothing to show.
