⏱️Duration:120 min·
From $150 per person
★★★★★4.9· 65 participants
Rated 4.9 out of 5. 65 participants.
Build a spread of stuffed peppers, an ensalada, pan con tomate and melon con jamón, then pass the plates around the room the way tapas are meant to be shared. With the chef coaching every dish at your office or venue, your holiday party happens while the food gets made rather than after it. Add vegetable paella, cinnamon churros, or a Spanish wine pairing.
🍽️ 3-Layer Sponge Cakes with a Variety of Festive Delicious Toppings
⏱️Duration:120 min·
From $150 per person
★★★★★5.0· 73 participants
Rated 5.0 out of 5. 73 participants.
Split into teams to decorate 3-layer sponge cakes with a variety of festive toppings, then line them up for judging. Prizes go to the most creative, the best-tasting and the most festive cake. The chef comes to your office or venue to coach each team, and because creativity counts as much as taste, first-time decorators have a real shot at winning. Expect friendly rivalry and plenty of laughter.
🍽️ Holiday Activities such as Gingerbread Co-Workers, or Human Snowman Creations
⏱️Adds to your event:+ 30 min
Add 30 minutes of holiday fun to any in-person menu with an activity such as Gingerbread Co-Workers or Human Snowman Creations, and bring some lightness to your party. Each one gets people using their creativity and laughing together, which is what builds better relationships between co-workers. It is offered during the holiday season only, so ask which activity best suits your menu when you book.

Make cavatelli from scratch, shaping each piece by hand, then split into teams for a pesto competition with basil, nuts and cheese. Bragging rights go to the most flavorful and the most creative pesto in the room. The chef moves between teams at your office or venue, coaching everyone through each step as the rivalry builds. Add chicken piccata, tiramisu, or Italian wine and beer.
★★★★★4.9· 141 participants
Rated 4.9 out of 5. 141 participants.
Roll a variety of Japanese maki by hand from sushi rice you make yourself, then pick up the chef's tricks for plating and presentation, all at your office or venue. Whether you are hosting clients or your own team, everyone compares rolls across the table, laughs over the lopsided ones and eats what they made. Add a sake etiquette session and mochi for dessert.
🍽️ Variety of Cured Meats and Cheeses, Fruits, Nuts, Crackers, Olives, and Jam
⏱️Duration:2 hours·
From $150 per person
★★★★★4.9· 60 participants
Rated 4.9 out of 5. 60 participants.
Team up with colleagues or clients to build a charcuterie board from cured meats and cheeses, fruit, nuts, crackers, olives and jam, deciding together what goes where. At your office or venue, the chef shows each team how to arrange its board, and then the boards go side by side before anyone digs in. There is no cooking involved, so the whole session goes into building, comparing and tasting. Add a wine tasting or deli sandwiches and salad.
Make Dubai chocolate hands-on with the chef in the room at your office or venue, close enough to watch every step and ask questions as you go. Your team works side by side instead of on separate screens, trading tips and tasting each other's chocolate as it comes together. By the end, every colleague has chocolate they made themselves to pass around the table.
🍽️ Melon con Jamón, Pan con Tomate, Patatas Bravas, and Piquillo de Atún
⏱️Duration:2 hours·
From $150 per person
★★★★★4.8· 43 participants
Rated 4.8 out of 5. 43 participants.
Prepare tapas from patatas bravas and piquillo de atún to pan con tomate and melon con jamón, while a show-stopping leg of jamón gives the room its talking point. Built for conversation as much as cooking, it suits client appreciation events as well as your own team, with the chef coming to your office or venue. Add vegetable paella, cinnamon churros, or a Spanish wine pairing.

Step behind the bar and mix, shake and stir your own classic cocktails and creative seasonal sips while a mixologist teaches your team each one. Everything happens at your office or a nearby venue, with all the equipment and ingredients provided, so there is nothing for you to source. Picture the whole room shaking at once, then tasting and comparing whose drink came out best.
🍽️ Explore exceptional wines handpicked by Rockoly’s expert sommeliers. From bold reds to crisp whites, enjoy guided tastings that engage the senses and spark great conversation.
⏱️Duration:2 hours·
From $150 per person
★★★★★4.9· 102 participants
Rated 4.9 out of 5. 102 participants.
Swirl, sip and compare bold reds, crisp whites and everything in between while a sommelier at your office or venue tells you what to notice in each glass. Tasting side by side gets the whole team talking, from first impressions to favorites to friendly debates over which wine wins the room. No wine knowledge is needed, just a willingness to say what you taste.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Boston In-Person Event FAQs
Can you run this in our Boston office, or should we book a venue?
Both work, and the room you choose is what moves the rate: your own office and a venue we arrange are quoted separately. Most Boston teams have us come to them, from downtown Boston to Cambridge and the surrounding area, because the chef arrives with the ingredients, supplies and equipment. A conference room or an open floor is the usual setup, and your planner goes over the space with you when you book. If your floor can't hold the group, they'll line up a venue nearby instead. Groups run from 3 people to 600-plus, with the largest teams split by department or across a few days.
Who actually runs the event, and what do the two hours look like?
A Rockoly chef or mixologist leads it start to finish, with an event helper on site and a dedicated planner who has settled the menu, timing and logistics with you beforehand. The crew sets up before your team walks in, then it's about two hours of hands-on cooking or mixing, with the chef demonstrating each step before your group tries it. Themed appetizers and non-alcoholic refreshments are included, and the same crew handles cleanup. Your side of it is picking a date, confirming headcount and flagging dietary needs.
Any Boston food history worth sharing at the event?
Massachusetts has an unusually strong dessert résumé. The chocolate chip cookie was invented at the Toll House Inn in Whitman in the 1930s, when Ruth Wakefield stirred chopped-up chocolate into her cookie dough, and the state later adopted it as the official state cookie. Boston cream pie, credited to the Parker House hotel downtown, has been the official state dessert of Massachusetts since 1996 — and it isn't a pie at all, but a sponge cake with custard and chocolate glaze, named from an era when cooks baked cakes in pie tins. Our chefs enjoy this stuff, so ask them about it. If you want dessert on your own menu, tiramisu sits on the Cavatelli & Competition extras list and mini cheesecakes on the one for Charcuterie & Connection, and we run a festive baking menu in Boston through the holiday season. Your planner can add any of them.
Half our team doesn't cook. Will this fall flat?
That describes most groups we work with, and it's fine. Everything is pitched at beginners: the chef demonstrates each step, the tasks are small and shared, and nothing is graded. The formats help too — the Pesto Relay Race add-on to Cavatelli & Competition gives each person a specific task so nobody is stuck doing all of it, and Charcuterie & Connection is about building a good-looking board, not knife skills. Someone who would rather pour, taste and talk is still fully part of the event.
What does an in-person event cover?
Boston in-person events are quoted differently for your own office and for a venue Rockoly arranges, and your planner confirms the exact figure once headcount, menu and location are settled. Every in-person event includes live instruction, all ingredients, supplies and equipment, setup and cleanup by the Rockoly team, extra food and drinks so nobody leaves hungry, a dedicated event coordinator with free customizations, and event insurance. Optional add-ons are the only separate cost, like custom aprons with names or your logo at $40 per person, or a cocktail shaker set your team keeps after Mixology & Mingle at $40 per person.
Can we combine menus, and how do dietary needs work?
Yes to both, and neither costs extra. Teams often pair a cooking workshop with mixology — cavatelli first, cocktails after — or swap dishes between menus to suit the group. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, kosher and no-alcohol requests are handled the same way: tell your planner in advance and the chef shops for them, so those guests cook and eat the same dish as everyone else instead of getting a side plate. Customizations are included in what you're already paying.
We book something for the team every quarter. Is there enough here to keep it fresh?
Yes, and the Boston list is built for it. The year-round menus give you six genuinely different afternoons — cavatelli and pesto made from scratch, Japanese maki rolls, charcuterie boards, Spanish tapas, cocktails with a mixologist, or a guided wine tasting with a sommelier. Book a different one next quarter and the room feels new, because the skill being taught is new. The seasonal menus stretch it further. Through the holidays Boston adds Festive Spanish Tapas and the Holiday Baking Championship, where teams decorate three-layer sponge cakes and prizes go to the most creative, best-tasting and most festive. Half-hour festive activities like Gingerbread Co-Workers and Human Snowman Creations can be added to any menu in that season. There is also the Boston In-Office BBQ, where the chefs bring the grill, the ingredients and the equipment to your workplace. Tell your planner you are thinking in terms of a series rather than a single event and they can map the menus across your calendar.
How do we hold a Boston date?
Plan on about three weeks for a cooking workshop and four for a happy hour, though rush dates are sometimes possible depending on chef availability. Rockoly is headquartered in Boston, so if your date is tight, a phone call on (617) 939-9732 will usually get you a straight yes or no faster than email will. A deposit holds your date, by credit card, ACH bank transfer or check. Cancel 30 or more days out and you are refunded what you paid less any nonrecoverable costs already committed; 15 to 29 days out you choose between a 50% refund and a 100% Rockoly credit; inside 15 days payments are nonrefundable, though one complimentary reschedule is yours if you ask 30+ days ahead. The inquiry form on this page and events@rockoly.com reach the same planners. Every event is backed by the Love Your Event Guarantee: if your Rockoly event doesn't live up to expectations, we'll make it right.
