When you book
A $250 deposit reserves the date and comes off the total in full. Dates 2 weeks out book instantly; sooner than that, ask and we can often expedite.
Within a day
Every event gets a dedicated planner, at no cost. They shape it around your team — the menu, the timings, dietary needs, and the parts that make it yours.
A week before
Suggestions rather than a fixed list, so everyone can work with what is already in their kitchen. Bring your own produce, jars and whatever else you fancy putting up.
Event day
One link, no software to install. Your planner is on hand in the background if anything needs sorting mid-event.

Nothing ships — you bring the ingredients
Plans move. Every window below is counted back from your event date, and applies to virtual events like this one.
Cancellation
Refund of amounts paid, less any documented nonrecoverable costs already incurred.
Your choice: a 50% refund of the recoverable event amount, or a Rockoly credit for 100% of it.
Payments are nonrefundable. The event may still be eligible for rescheduling.
Rescheduling
One complimentary reschedule is permitted.
A rescheduling fee of 10% of the Event Subtotal or $250, whichever is greater.
A rescheduling fee of 25% of the Event Subtotal or $500, whichever is greater.
Headcount is confirmed 10 business days out, and credits last 12 months. The full terms — including no-shows, weather and what counts as a nonrecoverable cost — are in our Event Terms & Conditions.
The dishes are chosen for what they symbolise rather than at random — dumplings for wealth because they look like old ingots, long noodles for longevity and you're not supposed to cut them. Having that explained turned the cooking into something more interesting than a themed menu. It's also a good reminder that Lunar New Year isn't only Chinese, and the session was careful about that in a way I hadn't expected.

Easy to organize and worth booking well ahead, since the date is fixed and the slots go. The menu is a choice rather than a set thing, so it's worth asking which option suits your group — ours needed a steamer and two people didn't have one, which a colander and a lid solved.

We chose it to mark the date properly for a team with several people who celebrate it, and the feedback from them specifically was that it had been done with care rather than as a generic Asian food session. That was the thing I'd been most worried about getting wrong.

I cook a fair amount and the technical content held up better than I'd expected from a seasonal booking — the dumpling pleat, the reason the noodles are pulled rather than cut, and how to get a proper sear on the base of a potsticker before the water goes in. Those are real techniques rather than a themed assembly job, and I've used all three since. Worth booking for the cooking regardless of the date.
