Add-ons

Wine Pairing

Complete the occasion with a festive wine pairing and round out your experience.

Process and timeline

From the moment you book to the moment the chef says hello.

  1. When you book

    Hold your date

A $250 deposit reserves the date and comes off the total in full. Dates 2 weeks out book instantly; sooner than that, ask and we can often expedite.

  2. Within a day

Your event planner gets in touch

Every event gets a dedicated planner, at no cost. They shape it around your team — the menu, the timings, dietary needs, and the parts that make it yours.

    • Free customization of the menu and the run of show
    • Free engagement games to open or close the session
    • Extra cheers, toasts and shout-outs for birthdays, wins and farewells
    • Dietary adjustments for anyone who needs them
  3. As soon as you like

    Collect guest addresses

We send every guest a short form to fill in themselves, so you never chase anyone for a home address. Prefer to handle it yourself? Send us the list instead.

  4. 14 days before

    Addresses in

That is the deadline for free standard shipping anywhere in the US. International delivery is available to most countries at additional cost, and those addresses are due earlier.

  5. The day before or the day of

    Fresh ingredients arrive

Not a box packed a week ago: each guest's ingredients are bought fresh at a local store — Whole Foods first choice, or the best grocer near them — and delivered to their door, so what they cook with is fresh on the day.

  6. Event day

Everyone joins and the chef takes it from there

One link, no software to install. Your planner is on hand in the background if anything needs sorting mid-event.

Agenda / Run of show

A breakdown of how the 60 min runs.

  1. 0:00 – 0:05

    Welcome & introduction

Meet your chef and host, run through the ingredients and equipment, and say hello to the team.

  2. 0:05 – 0:13

    Mise en place

Prep and portion everything before the cooking starts — the step that makes the rest calm.

  3. 0:13 – 0:36

    Cook together

The chef leads the dish step by step, at a pace the whole group can follow, with tips as you go.

  4. 0:36 – 0:44

    Team break

While something rests or bakes, the host runs a short icebreaker or trivia round.

  5. 0:44 – 0:52

    Finish & plate

Bring it together, plate it up and learn how a chef would serve it.

  6. 0:52 – 1:00

    Taste, group photo & Q&A

Eat what you made, take the team photo, and ask the chef anything.

“We hosted our Father’s Day Wagyu Steak Dinner Cooking Class earlier this week with Rockoly and it was a smashing success! I really loved working with your team throughout the planning process.”

The steak arrives and it's immediately obvious you're not cooking a normal ribeye — the marbling is unlike anything I'd handled. That changes the method entirely: lower heat, shorter time, and render the fat rather than searing it hard. Chef Ram was emphatic about not treating it like a supermarket steak, and he was right; it would have been an expensive mistake.

Organizing this felt like a risk given the cost per head, and it justified itself. The meat arrived cold and in good condition to every address, and the session is built around not ruining it — resting time, slicing against the grain, all the things people get wrong. Nobody on our team overcooked theirs.

Avery

Verified guest

I'd never cooked a steak I was actually afraid of ruining. The thing that stuck was resting it for longer than feels reasonable — Chef Ram made everyone wait, and the difference when we finally cut in was obvious. Mine was pink the whole way through for the first time in my life.

Drew

Verified guest

Chef Ram ran ours and was calm about the fact that everyone was nervous about a very expensive piece of meat. He talked through the pan temperature before anyone turned a hob on, and checked in individually as people seared. Nobody in our group ruined theirs, which given the price was the outcome that mattered.
