Process and timeline

From the moment you book to the moment the chef says hello.

  1. When you book

    Hold your date

A $250 deposit reserves the date and comes off the total in full. Dates 2 weeks out book instantly; sooner than that, ask and we can often expedite.

  2. Within a day

Your event planner gets in touch

Every event gets a dedicated planner, at no cost. They shape it around your team — the menu, the timings, dietary needs, and the parts that make it yours.

    • Free customization of the menu and the run of show
    • Free engagement games to open or close the session
    • Extra cheers, toasts and shout-outs for birthdays, wins and farewells
    • Dietary adjustments for anyone who needs them
  3. As soon as you like

    Collect guest addresses

We send every guest a short form to fill in themselves, so you never chase anyone for a home address. Prefer to handle it yourself? Send us the list instead.

  4. 14 days before

    Addresses in

That is the deadline for free standard shipping anywhere in the US. International delivery is available to most countries at additional cost, and those addresses are due earlier.

  5. The day before or the day of

    Fresh ingredients arrive

Not a box packed a week ago: each guest's ingredients are bought fresh at a local store — Whole Foods first choice, or the best grocer near them — and delivered to their door, so what they cook with is fresh on the day.

  6. Event day

Everyone joins and the chef takes it from there

One link, no software to install. Your planner is on hand in the background if anything needs sorting mid-event.

Agenda / Run of show

A breakdown of how the 60 min runs.

  1. 0:00 – 0:05

    Welcome & introduction

Meet your chef and host, run through the ingredients and equipment, and say hello to the team.

  2. 0:05 – 0:13

    Mise en place

Prep and portion everything before the cooking starts — the step that makes the rest calm.

  3. 0:13 – 0:36

    Cook together

The chef leads the dish step by step, at a pace the whole group can follow, with tips as you go.

  4. 0:36 – 0:44

    Team break

While something rests or bakes, the host runs a short icebreaker or trivia round.

  5. 0:44 – 0:52

    Finish & plate

Bring it together, plate it up and learn how a chef would serve it.

  6. 0:52 – 1:00

    Taste, group photo & Q&A

Eat what you made, take the team photo, and ask the chef anything.

What guests said about this experience

Honeycomb brittle is the showpiece — you add bicarbonate to hot sugar and it erupts into three times the volume in about two seconds, and the whole call went silent watching it happen. Chef Emily warned everyone to have the tray ready because there is genuinely no time to find one. She was also firm about not stirring it afterwards, which collapses all the air you just created. The peanut butter cups are the easy half and mostly about tempering the chocolate enough that it snaps.

Easy to organize but this is the one to flag properly in advance — molten sugar is involved and it's considerably hotter than boiling water. Everyone needs a heatproof surface and a tray lined and waiting. Once that's communicated it runs well, and nobody in our group had an incident.

Finley

I'd never made confectionery and had assumed it needed a sugar thermometer and a lot of nerve. The honeycomb doesn't — it's about colour and timing rather than a precise temperature, and Chef Emily gave a visual cue that worked. Mine came out light and shattering rather than dense, which I gather is the test.

Elena

Short and dramatic, which makes it a good pick for a Halloween slot where you want something with a moment in it rather than a long bake. Both sweets keep for a week or so in a tin, so a single session covered our trick-or-treating. The almond nugget add-on is worth the extra if you have the time.
